In today’s episode of Time & Taste, we travel to Covington, Kentucky to visit an Asian restaurant I’ve heard about for a while, but haven’t had a chance to experience.

They’re served with a side of sweet and sour sauce, delivering a delightful crunch followed by a smooth, savory hit of flavor. These crisp bites are as precise and unexpected as the Defy 21’s 1/100th of a second chronograph movement, tightly engineered and impossible to ignore.
Next, the Good Pot Stickers: wok-fried dumplings filled with minced pork shoulder, herbs, and green onion, paired with a garlic chili paste and soy-based dipping sauce. These are comforting yet punchy, with a perfect sear and meaty richness. They are a GAME CHANGER! Much like the openworked dial of the Chroma II, every bite reveals layers of complexity, where balance and boldness coexist in harmony.
Then comes the fiery Szechuan with Chicken, a medley of julienned vegetables and chicken wok-fried in a sweet-and-sour soy vinegar sauce. The dish is vibrant and punchy, and yes, spicy enough to wake your taste buds from their deepest slumber. Its high-voltage flavor mirrors the watch’s color-coded chronograph scale, each second and ingredient singing its own note in a well-conducted visual and culinary symphony.
Now for the Mongolian Beef, which is a dish I often order at Asian restaurants. It’s thinly sliced beef flash-seared with green and white onions, then coated with a rich hoisin and red chili oil-based sauce. Sweet, savory, and utterly craveable, this dish’s glossy depth of flavor mirrors the Defy 21’s black ceramic case. There’s a toughness to both, the kind that’s earned, not assumed.
